If you think pointing out right wing hypocrisy is peverted one can only imagine what you would think of folks who pass anti-gay legislation during the work day and then go cruising for hot gay sex in public restrooms during their spare time - ala" wide stance" larry. If I'm not mistaken, Justice Thomas entered Holy Cross and Yale before their affirmative action programs were even imposed - then suffered from the fallout. He never benefited from affirmative action.
Ah yes Thomas entered before affirmative action programs were affirmed. Thomas blamed Yale Law School -- specifically, its affirmative action program, which sought to give up to 10 percent of first-year spots to minorities -- for his difficulties securing a job as a first-year associate.
Yale Law School launched its affirmative action program in 1969. As for Thomas' argument that Yale's affirmative action program made his law degree worthless? "Bullshit," says Daniel Johnson, Jr., a partner at the San Francisco office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and a 1973 graduate of the school. "I know [African-American law students at Yale] who got job offers all over the country."
His nomination to the supreme court. Thomas himself stated that there were many more qualified candidates. He was nominated because republicans felt obligated to replace justice marshal with another black man. Howz that for the ultimate affirmative action
