Distortion Drum - These Days Age (2006)

I've finally decided to upload our first two album. I have been listening to a lot of this the last few days and I found out I'm still attached to this stuff. We recorded our first album called "A Precious Moment" in 2004 and then "These Days Age" in 2006. Both were recorded at my parents house when I was in my early 20's. They never got pass the '530' Area Code in California, so this is technically the first time it's been available to everyone and anyone who can find it. I think most that like heavy music will enjoy this. Some of this stuff is really catchy.

On a side note, most songs will be displayed with the album art and a track list. Some songs had music videos made with random live footage. Those songs will be shown with the music video instead of album art.

This one got a tiny bit of radio play on a local band show on 106.7 Z-Rock.

Lyrics:
I wonder where these days went. I thought I had more time to rediscover change and more. So seek life, a life in which to share. And if you die tomorrow, at least you tried and least you cared 'cause I...

I wonder why the sight of you and I makes me cry?

I left you here alone to find the real you, there's not much else I can do. So breathe life, breathe in all you can and rediscover change and more.

I wonder why the sight of you and I makes me cry?

What If I can break your fall?
What if I can break you?

Breathe...breathe slow... I'm telling you to breathe, but breathe slow. Don't lose your head. Don't bite off more than you can chew!

I wonder why the sight of you and I makes me cry?

Break for the door. The water's getting high. I can't take this anymore! I wonder why!

What if I can break your fall?
What if I can break you!?

End

Please Comment! I would like to know if you people actually like what you hear. Like a lot of unsuccessful bands here on Earth, Distortion Drum was just another band that never made it.

  • I'm really diggin' this.

    This is really good man.

    Keep it up!

  • this is way better than any of the stuff they play on the radio where i'm from. the singer has a really good voice. i think it's pretty good stuff. i guess the only bad about it is like you said it's just metal nothing special, the really great bands that make it stand out and have a unique and distinct sound, this isnt really like that, however you still get my respect for writing a good song

  • Very good stuff.

  • 5/5 as usual. Strange how great bands like this break up while there are such horrible (in my opinion) bands who go on to make shit loads.
