my ibook decided it wasnt going to work anymore, and i got a new hard drive for it. Do i need to have an operating system on it to install snow leapord?

@dimas3097... snow leopard is only for INTEL processors... ibook use powerpc..

hey guys... ive installed the snow leopard and now i need to reformat my mac... can i reload leopard and then reinstall snow leopard?... can my license still be used

@Tigergruppen88... if got already snow leopard forgot leopard, 10.5 is slow and old.. 10.6 is fast and new is the future... mac os no work with any type of licenses...

@Tigergruppen88... yes you can. insert snow leopard cd, turn of your mac, turn on and press C and dont leave when you hear the cd rom is reading and start to format and reinstall snow leopard from a clean installation...

@dimas3097 You either need to find a copy of 10.4 Tiger (good luck with that) or buy a new mac. Tiger is almost impossible to find
