Led Zeppelin's "Rock And Roll" was inspired by this song. According to guitarist Jimmy Page during recording for the band's fourth album "IV", out of boredom John Bonham began playing the drum intro of this song and then the rest of the band began playing what would soon become "Rock And Roll". The two do sound very much alike but then again this is how Rock And Roll is suppose to be played. The original American way!!!!

@maryssim no no, please leave the saxes in there. i've been listening to this for 50 years and it still defines rock music. those saxes are the rock in the roll. many of the great rock guitar soloists of the past 50 years were influenced by saxophone players, e.g., John Coltrane, King Curtis, Gene Ammons, and many more (Many More was damn good). The Stones had horns from late '60s to mid '70s. Even Bud Powell, the greatest pianist of 20th c., developed bop piano by emulating the sound of horns.
