Crawling in the dark - CS in the Gas Chamber

Music video of B Company STB of the US Army in South Korea going through the gas chamber. The gas is called CS gas, or tear gas, or riot control gas. Its all the same thing. Its not fun though, but we made it fun. Some people vomit from this, others get really sick. They even had one of these chambers on fear facter and all they had to do is stand in there, longest one wins, and that is week compared to this. The police, demonstrations, fear factor, whomever, they all use canisters..., we use concentrated tabs.

The purpose of the training is to make you familier with your mask so you know when its working and how to use it. If marines "go in in just cammies" then whats the point? We are given the option and take the masks off...!

Dude, Gore-Tex is in RAIN GEAR. Not fucking CBRN suits. Plus, this type of non-lethal CS is just respitory, so full body suit isn't needed. I'm so sick of people pretending to be Marines or whatever the fuck they pretend to be even though they have no idea what they're talking about. I've actually been in CS before as an EMT. I have no idea what it feels like because I had a resperator on but it looked pretty painful. Gore-tex? Come on, grow up.

Like ohers have said Gore_Tex will not protect you. THe CBRN suits are charcoal lined to protect you by absorbing the toxins. And even tough it affects your respitory tract the more sensitive areas of your skin ie your face will burn when exposed to it. Also everyones reaction is diffrent. And yes most Marines will take their mask off for the hell of it. Also if you have a fresh shave that shit is gunna burn. And have you hell some of us are smileing when we exit. You would have to join to know.

your generally only in there for 5 minutes at MOST and 4 minutes and 3 seconds of that time is spend with a mask on. other then that, its stereotypical but think happy thoughts and try not to panic, that just makes it worse lol

Actually, those "concentrated tablets"...are just used to evaporate the CS wgich is actually a crystal lie material not a gas...it is actually loads of small particles. The police use a solvent heat releasded version of CS its not more weak.
