Can't thank you enough for these uploads of Brouwer's amazing transcriptions of Scarlatti's masterworks. I had this on cassette from a very scratchy record that I borrowed in the 70's...so nice to hear a clean recording of these works. The disc is long out of print BTW. Gracias!

amazing, his interpretation, arpeggios, the subtle swift legato, perfect syncopation, it might not be his original work but its still amazing, especially to transcribe this from the piano.

Thanks. I didn`t know about all these transcriptions and performance of D. Scarlatti by Leo Brower. Very very interesting.
D. Scarlatti is one of the composers whose adaptations sound very well in the guitar( as J S Bach, for ex. ). Because not all composers in transcription gets good in the guitar.

I believe this piece to be One of the best scarlatti pieces translated for guitar and brillantly played by Leo Brouwer!
I added here as a video response a good transcription of the sonata K 466 , in Fa minor, adapted and played by the Duo Assad. ( if you permit )
