Paul plays a couple of bluegrass standards using a Whitner metronome to keep time. Played on a Martin HD-28.

  • Wow! amazing!

  • @inosingenglish Thank you!!!

  • me and my friend play this one all the tim . except its old joe clarkd and salt creek

  • @bluegrassman776 That is very cool. My buddy Jake and I are fooling with Sugar Foot Rag and Clinch Mt Backstep in the same fashion now also. Keep pickin'!

  • Lovely but no need for that highly irritating metronome. Also you should do it on mandolin because it sounds better on that particular instrument. Nevertheless great stuff.

  • @MusicalGhoul

    Thanks for checking it out.

I would not say that it sounds better on a mandolin - just as unique and beautiful. Thanks for stopping by and keep picking!

  • Really nice playing, Paul but please ditch the metronome! It's really distracting.

  • @flashofthegap1200 - thanks for the cool comment! I will definitely check out the flat pickin suggestions, because I love to flat pick! Keep on pickin!
