  • So the debate ensues about eating. I am delighted to put up any posts that stirs debate. It is good to have a different perspective from everyone. However, when it comes to eating. The debate as I see it is which is more important eating "right" or training. There is a great understanding between men and women that I believe we can all agree, "garbage in - garbage out". This goes for the mind - and the body. It is not a judgmental statement it simply elementary. Love your body- Peace all,Vic

  • Hi Vic, since I discovered your videos I try to work on my technique and control, rather than on weight. I find your tips very useful and try to come up with my own subtle movements in order to target the muscle better. I was wondering, what do you think of squats and do you squat at all? Your legs look great, whether you squat or not!

  • @Peer974

I do not squat - I really do leg presses only- I believe that most people ignore their legs. If you diligently produce good leg press workouts once per week- my feeling is that it is more than most - It will keep the body in terrific proportion. Peace, Vic

  • Everything in the video seems logical but when i comes to the jerking motion on the bottom part of the movement it confuses my believe of pumping iron. What makes you believe that this quick movement will maximize your results ?

  • @Elwood19901

Actually- if you think of the traditional sense of pumping iron - the thrust on the bottom would actually make more sense and fit the description of what is normally referred to as "pumping iron". This movement is designed to create two sensations, the movement of the weight from the bottom and the control of the weight through the rest of the movement. Most guys who train have legs that are sub par when compared to the rest of their development. Obviously tradition is not working.

  • Hey Vic, how many times a week should i train my calves, I can't get them to grow, Please help!!

  • @johny65ify

I would say two min- try training like abs in beginning- try to keep them slightly sore so you build a connection with them -Vic
