X-1R, the only lubricants in the world ever to be inducted into the Space Foundation / NASA Space Technology Hall of Fame & designated "Certified Space Technology".
Chroline is basically bleach. You take a pair of old blue jeans. And pour x1r on them and let it set. The jeans will end up with a bleached out spot. Or take some joy dish detergent (or any detergent that makes bleach react) and mix it with x1r and watch it turn white. This will prove that x1r is no different from the products listed that got into trouble.
There is 2 types of wear. Friction and chemical. Chrorinated parrifin based products increase chemical wear severals times normal.
Several chlorinated parafin type products, whch x1r is. Hae been getting into trouble with the FTC about making claims they have not tested. This group includes:
1) Prolong.
2) Durlube.
3) Motorup.
4) Slick 50.
5) STP.
etc... Just google the name of product and FTC.
If you don't think x1r has chorinated parafin (chlorine) in it. Which makes your oil more acidict. I will post a simple test in the next post because I'm running out of room.
I really agree, I've used x1r for 5 years now in all our cars here in New Zealand, I wouldn't be without the metal protection this lube does, and doesn't void warranties on our newer cars.
