is it easy to fly?
-
Very nice! Looks like a future project to me.
-
it is supposed to be down and to the right when it is on the nose of a plane but not too much only enough so that you can tell that its angled if you look closely. idk about if you put it in the middle but i think you do the same for the front but if you put the motor in backwards do when your facing towards the back of the motor
-
i do not consider any wing delta unless the angle is passed 45 degrees, because the aerodynamics arnot the same!
-
plz tell me how u made that
-
Nice launch!

Nice catch before you hit the ground!

It is easy for an aileron airplane. It is almost indestructible. I have purposely landed it in a leafy tree with no damage. It is not a beginners plane because it reacts too fast.

Could you please tell me how far back your CG is (inches/root length)? thanks!

@jdplus3 Looks like I forgot to put the CG on the plans. If you haven't seen the plans do a search for the word carot on wattflyer. Start with the CG back about 6.25 inches from the engine mount. Move it back and forth quite a bit to find where you like it. The plane loops very tight with an aft CG but seems more stable in slow flight with a forward CG. It is not very critical at all.

i have a question. when you mount the motor on does it have to be at an angle because of the tourqe? or can i jus mount it straight in the middle
historysky 3 years ago
I used a bit of right thrust although you could mount it straight and use shims to tune it in.

what is shims?
historysky 3 years ago
Shims are spacers. A small thin piece of plywood can be used as a shim, just place it directly behind the motor, but only along the left edge, that way the motor will tilt slightly to the right.
