Gen. Mitchell was an amazing person. With prophetic clarity he recognized that air power would be decisive in future wars. It's really stunning to listen to him in this clip, and one wishes he would have lived longer because only 15 years later occured the London Blitz, the Battle of Britain, the Pearl Harbor attack, and the devastating Allied aerial bombardments of WWII, and the dropping of the A-Bomb.
