  • hey MrChum, I was with the 609 program....and ditto . * )

  • hey how come no video of the plasma huh.

  • I worked at JSC for the first 2 missions of this magnifcent craft in Avionics Itnegration laboraratory (Sail) and as an Englishman , I was truly honoured to work with some of the most inspiring people I have ever met in my life.

  • El fin histórico de una era. Hace menos de un mes estuve visitando el Kennedy Space Center

Opino que en lugar de Space Shuttle lo deberían haber llamado Orbital Shuttle o quizás , Earth Orbital Shuttle.

  • Sad to see the end of an era. Just before I was born, man first walked on the moon (7/20/69). I wonder if I will see humans walk again on another heavenly body in my lifetime, and if they will be Americans? If all goes as planned I will be 72 when America goes to Mars. Of course, we have been saying Mars is 30 years out ever since I was born. Goodbye to the shuttle program and thanks to everyone at NASA for inspiring a generation!

  • I was only 1 year old when the first shuttle was launched in 1981. I never thought this day would come. I actually saluted and shed a tear at wheels stop when I watched this live on CNN. I'll always remember the space shuttle program and never forget its legacy.

  • I was there at Houston space center watching from the auditorium!

  • russians flew with you now you fly with russians and in some years it perhaps is right the opposite again :)

  • and then there were none... :'( <3

  • Thank you very much STS program! It's been amazing!
