breatheasy7000, Michael J. Fox doesn't visit YouTube, so I don't think he'll get your reply. Parkinson makes it really hard to use a keyboard or mouse.

Good point vertigo. Parkinson's disease is nothing - you just got to stay on the meds, right? Why would we ever try to find a cure?
It's time to turn off Rush and join the real world.

Vertigo101 - ...and? what, people shouldn't see the reality of parkinson's disease? as if it 'isn't that bad'? it's STILL a horrible illness when you're on medication. you are STILL not cured. and besides, most people aren't gonna have the fancyass meds that Fox has, and many people still won't be able to afford medication ANYWAY. your point is shit.

You know that he has admitted to intentionally going off his medication for dramatic effect for these commercials, right? And that he has done the same thing when speaking before congress as well?

Rush Limbaugh is a fat bastard who is jealous because he can't get prespcriptions to legalize his habit. Why isn't he in prison for his crimes? According to his own philosophy drug users all belong in jail without trial.

John Paul II had Parkinson too and he choose to suffer

This stem cell issue isn't about doing the research. It is about giving the U.S. Government the power to create human embryos (see: human cloning) then to kill them for the stem cells. I don't want fetus farms do you? I simply believe life begins at conception. This arguement is the abortion issue reincarnated.
Has anyone even considered the fact that several endocannabinoids, including anandamide have been found to drastically slow the progression of these debilitating diseases (Such as Parkinson's, Huntington's, Alzheimer's)...and the FDA says marijuana has no medical applications.

Republicans don't mind sacrificing soldiers or the disabled to their theology or ideals. Embryonic stem cell research has already made lab animals WALK AGAIN. The extreme right view stem cell research as a battleground. The disabled are simply veiwed as collateral damage. A soldier fights for our country, is injured, and then the Christian right or the G.O.P want them to suffer instead of using a possible path to a cure.
