香港と同じように、福岡も近代的な国際都市です。ここには、パッケージ化された世界中の「自然」が日用品として送られてきます。自然の一要素であるミネラル・ウォーターは­その一例で、ボトルに詰められてスーパーなどで売られています。九州の中央部にある阿蘇山の水からフランスのアルプスの水まで、私たちは様々な水を手に入れることができま­す。
それでは、人はどうすればこの非常に澄んだ水の入ったボトルから、その源である雪山を想像することができるのでしょうか？私はフランスのアルプスの水を使って、氷の彫刻を­作り、冷凍庫の中に展示します。

Nature
This is an artwork dedicated to Katsuhiro Toru.
If Japanese language is disappearing, he wants to remember this statement "Nature".

Same as Hong Kong, Fukuoka is an international modern city. "Nature" with a package is sending here from everywhere in the world as commodities. For example, mineral water, as an element of the nature, is put into a bottle and sold in the supermarket. We can find water from the Aso of central Kyushu, the Alps of France, etc.
How one can imagine the snow mountain, the origin of the extremely clean water, from a bottle? I make ice sculptures using the water from the French Alps and install them inside the refrigerator.
