Little lag in the video when I uploaded it, sorry. This is the Tesla Coil that I built over the summer of 2008. It's a 465W coil with a 3 inch secondary and a 15000V 30ma NST.

  • how long did it take you to wind your secondary?

  • It took me about 6-8 hours

  • 10 Microfarads capacitor????

  • Yep my mistake, meant it to say nanofarads. Micro would be a bit obscene.

  • Very nice! Your nst looks JUST like mine, but mine is 12kv and 60ma. I like your coil because it is nice and pretty small, but it looks quite efficient. Good job!

  • how big the diameter of the magnet wire? and I'm having trouble getting NST Transformer, can I use the drivers Flyback Transformer?.
