Hey mankalephallang, Thanks for the comment. Wot I know about the one wire instrument is that it is made with an empty metal parrafin container- which acts as the acoustic bowl of a guitar and then a sapling wood is used to stretch the wire which when stroked with a piece of gut, the sound is then manipulated by the fingers of the musician. The name of the instrument I have not managed to confirm but will let you know as soon as I have it- good listening.
