  • Indiana has HIP which allows you to have it up to 200% above the Federal poverty level. Your employer can pay half of the premiums that are no more than about $89.00. For the deductible, you pay into a savings account that rolls over if you don't use it, so it stays yours.

There are loads of Free medical clinics and medical camps, as well.

  • @BewareofFlatteries Thanks for the info.

  • Gads, this woman is so messed up.

It's common for people without health care to wait until their condition gets so bad that they have no choice but to go to an emergency room.

She threw socialism and communism into the same basket. That's just wrong.

According to WHO, the country with the best health care is ... France!

The Europeans believe in taking care of each other. Whereas in America, most of the wealthy people grab all they can.

There's no moral compass. That's the problem.

  • @AppleSouffle Oh, I am NOT messed up. France and the WHO? are you kidding? Did you even watch the whole video? The WHO is a socialist org itself. They take whatever the country reports to them. Socialist countries don't count miscarriages and still births when they report, but the US DOES.

And, why is England now decentralizing Health Care if its so great?

  • I agree with you about socilaized healthcare. We have a state program here in California called "California Healthy Families Program," and it is very similar to your North Carolina program. The insurance premiums are outrageously low. For example, a single mother can insure 3 or more of her kids for only $51 dollars a month, and that's just if you fall into Category C. It's even lower than that if you fall into Category B. I don't want the government telling me what kind of surgery I need.

  • Thanks for commenting. I hope more people will comment with info on their states, or even make a video.

  • In the USA you pay close to the same amount of taxes as we do here but without ful coverage health care. The Europeans have been doing this for a while now, and it works pretty well. I dont understand the negative veiws Americans have towards Europe, and the rest of the world. Like we have the best system. We can learn alot from the rest of the world. Stay open minded. Peace

  • How you doing? I just wanted to comment on your video. I'm from Louisiana, Now living in Germany where we have socialized health care, your right our 82 million people is not 350 but overall in Europe their are about that number covered by this system.

I dont understand your fear for this system. The half you pay through taxes, the rest is covered by your employer. If your unemployed you have welfare. It works wonderfuly.

  • Still waiting on feed back from people who actually LIVE in the USA. What is your state doing?

  • Thanks, I'm glad some people understand it.
