The OTTO / Deutz stationary engine from 1895 is now available. This engine is a scale copy of the famous type D2. Depending on what carborator you build for this engine you can run it on clean propane or regular gasoline. You will be fascinated watching the engine running at low 150 RPM. Flywheeldiameter 200mm .

This engine is very beautiful, and runs so well.
I like the hit & miss with it, even if not intendet that makes it sound like a 2 stroke.

Hi there nice piece you have, the hit and miss I wolud say it comes from a unstable carburation try to improve that and you would be able to have a smoother run, I don't think the glow would be the blame since they have a long thermal inercia, try a os engine carb the one with the midrange needle,, nice display again, thank you for posting.
