ULTIMATE BEGINNERS GUIDE to Modern Warfare 2 (or any other first person shooter)

I feel that a lot of MW2 coverage lately seems to be about showing off your l33t skills, and nothing actually helpful or meaningful; nobody seems to be focused on the newbies! CMON GUYS!!! So this is a basic video guide for any person new to first person shooters. This is a video commentary while I'm playing MW2, I'm not going for anything impressive, I ALREADY KNOW MY RANK SUCKS, YOU DON'T NEED TO INFORM ME OF THAT....lol.

STRATEGIES COVERED:

-Connection speed
4 bars, or exit the game. PERIOD

-Ride the outskirts
A strategy used by pro gamer and newbie alike, keeping on the outside of the level, helps you from being killed from behind! It can also be useful to get some really wide viewing angles of the level as a whole.

-Reloading
Hey it happens! Sometimes you're firing away and the fact that you have 1 round left slips your mind! Reloading after every kill should be second nature to you.

-Watch killcams
What weapon was he using? Where was he camping from? What are his perks compared to mine? Killcams can be tedious to watch but they help more than you realize.

Anyway,. its purpose is to help all the MW2 newbies, and maybe even get some more people involved in FPS's if they just never gave the genre a chance. I'm an all around gamer, I love ALL game genres, FPS, MMO, MMORPG, RTS, Casual, Arcade, everything! I feel that if I stuck to one or a few genres, there's a lot I'd be missing out on. Plus it gets pretty boring only playing a few kinds of games...

1st tip: get a capture card if you want to film

Those connection bars mean nothing, I can play 1-2 bars and put up higher numbers then others. I'm not a beginner so I shouldn't say anything but don't generalize MW2 as online FPS because every other game is so different gameplay wise. They way you play is a good way to not die a lot but you won't get a lot of kills either. In MW2 there's 3 stretegies, 1- camp hard 2- patrol an area 3- rush. if your not doing one of those 3 things your gonna get slapped regardless.

not bad i used alot of these tips when i was around ure level but now im prestige 8 level 70 so i know more tips now but good vid m8 very helpfull for those low levels
