This short clip shows just a few Apophysis Fractal Flames. Colours and sizes change to show what can be done.

  • These are all really old images. I really cannot remember what I did. I do know that they were all really fast renders at small sizes. I used some of Cabintoms scripts and some of my own. I don't think many of them work with the latest versions of Apo.

  • What is the value of the quality that you have used?

  • Sorry I am not sure what you mean.

Do you mean what quality I have rendered at? What quality the film is at? Can you be more specific please?

However I cannot remember what quality I rendered these images at , it will have been pretty low and Youtube images were not of a very high standard when I made this video and took hours to upload. Nowadays my images are far more detailed and rendered at 150/3/2000 sized at 2560 x 1960 or thereabouts.

  • Referring to 0:23...

So what are you trying to tell me? The light at the end of the tunnel is really just a julia set? Walk to the light....

  • No not Juia sets at all.

    Apophysis works with fractal flames.

  • beautiful...........

can you please make a tutorial about how to do an image like those.

    thanks from greece

  • Sorry I don't have the time right now.

  • Rozr, love the use of the color; did you over-saturate to get some of those? They are sooo kewl; about the only time I get that kind of brightness is when I oversaturate and crank the brightness up, among other things.

Which scripts did you use for these?

  • @Rozrr Sorry... I was asking the quality of the renders. btw you have some pretty cool fractals

  • It was a joke.

I've never seen anything like this before yesterday. Seen lots of fractals. I thought this was just a 3d version of a fractal image.
