I took this footage on the 4th of July. We watched it at the Woodlands, Conroe Texas. Unfortunatly they forgot to switch of 1 light and that was exactly in my recording radius.
I recorded it with my Canon HF100 in Fireworks setting and with a Hama 2in1 Video converter. Used the Modosteady as a tripod and placed it unfortunatly on top of our cooler. So no drinks during the fireworks hahahah.
Was amazed how good the fireworks setting worked.
Edited in Sony Vegas 8 renered to mp4 1280x720 with 6mbps
I just shot the 2010 new years fireworks here in Singapore and can't wait to upload it here. I now need a good editing software though. Any recommendation?

@flareman666 Actually, your HF S100 is considered to be a better camera. I shot new years fireworks last night here in London with my HF S100 and didn't get nearly as good results as this guy did. A little bit of talent is clearly at work here. :)

Nice. I live less than 15 miles from The Woodlands. Didn't see this though. :(
I'm also thinking of buying this camcorder. Explains why I'm watching this vid.

Canon..Best value camcorder...I love it..SD price is falling., HDD is bulky and has moving parts (tends to fail easily)
