Samsung ST60 / TL105 test video

This is a test video of my new digital camera, the Samsung ST60. Sometimes also referred as TL105. It films in 720p. Here you can see a test shoot in my garden taken on a cloudy day at 7 pm.

I'm quite happy with my camera. It does all i want for only 120€.

I purchased the camera yesterday and wanted to point out that the audio mute during zoom is a feature that can be turned on/off in the video settings. Yes - there is a reason for it... the camera is so small there would be no way to isolate the motor sound from the microphone and the zoom is quite audible. My Panasonic DMC-ZS3 is much better in this regard (and most regards) but hey, the TL-105 was $115!!! ... takes great pictures and shoots HD video. How can you complain about that?

On page 52 of my manual it is under "voice" settings for video recoding where the options are: [Off] : Record a video without sound. [On] : Record a video with sound. [Zoom Mute] : Record a video without sound while zooming.

By setting it to "On" you no longer have the muting effect.

i am so glad im not the only one with this audio dropping problem. but i did notice that it sometimes mutes the audio without even zooming. i think it does it when its even trying to focus. but u said there is a way to turn this feature off?  if so how do u do it? i looked and cant find it.

got this camera for $80 yesterday.

My old digital camera costed me $400, and was a Fuji S5500 :-),

this camera is way better, but a little too small for my hands.. but i can live with it.
