Episode 22 "Retribution part II"

With his newly obtained knowledge, Dread sets a trap for the Power team at the gate - and it works. The Jumpship is knocked out of commission as Dread's forces pass through the gate, en route to the Power Base, where Pilot is unknowingly trapped. Power and the rest of the team struggle as fast as they can to come to Pilot's aid, but time is not on their side.

(X-mas with Cap'n Power)

  • Dredd sounds like magneto from 90s xmen....

  • What a cool movie this would be

  • @EuromanMovieReport The Bio Dread Empire's human military recruitment methods bear similarities to the Janissaries.

The Janissaries, mainly consisting of Christian boys, were doctrinated into Turkish and Islamic culture, trained to be the Sultan's elite troops, and at times, fought against Christian Armies.

The "Bio Dread Youth" applies the same concept as they recruit young survivors or organics, doctrinate them into Lord Dread's ideals of the machine, and sent to kill organics.

  • I notice that at 0:48, they used the same Dread Youth subjects for his assembly as "The Ferryman" episode.

I thought they graduated to Overunits like in the "The Ferryman" episode as opposed to remaining as Youth Leaders?

  • 2 minutes into the episode you knew she would die...and this was for kids.

  • While the Bio Dread Empire is modelled closely to Nazi Germany, it also borrows elements from the Ottoman Empire.

The Ottoman's often recruited Christian boys to serve as Janissaries. They were doctrinated in Turkish and Islamic culture, trained to be warriors, and forced to fight the Christian armies such as Crusaders.

The Bio Dread Empire uses this same concept to recruit humans to serve in their army, doctrinate them in the ways of the machine, and then forced to attack other humans.

  • Why would Dread Youth troops cheer on Lord Dread?

I thought that cheering is against the rules of Bio Dread Empire as its considered an emotion?

  • They didn't explain how humans and robots are equal in Dreeds Army?

  • man I miss this show
