Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #58

Hey Everyone,

Welcome to episode 6 of Cowabunga Corner Season 3. In this episode I get to sit down and interview Michelan Sisti who is best known as Michaelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 : The Secret of the Ooze. He also played the pizza delievery guy in the first movie and April's neighbor in the second movie. So both movies we know him in and out of costume.

Since working on the TMNT movie Michelan has gone on to work to keep working with Jim Henson's creature shop from the Dinosaurs TV series to the new Muppet Movie. In this interview he talks how he got into acting, some about his work as Michaelangelo and he goes on a little about remaining with the Henson Company!

How much time did you had for this ? You could of went with him through whole TMNT first movie scene by scene maybe he would tell how they shot the scenes or something and you should of ask him to bring some pics with him if he had some, would he do interview again ?

@bWWd0 I do hope to do more interviews with Micha in the future, he's a great guy. Though I also want to cover a lot other people who've never been interviewed before. So it may be a little bit before we get back around to him. There is one project that covers a little more of his Turtle days in the works, hopefully we'll be announcing that sometime in the next few months.

@TurtleGirlIvey ITs just most interviews are just sliding through questions and im sure many people would like to see something like directors commentary where directors talks during the movie and tells stories what was happening during shoting of some scenes, it would be easier for micha to remind himself about some scenes instead of asking such question about movie, im sure he would remember more things if he would see the movie playing.

@devilstoysuk2 The voice of Michaelangelo the films was Robbie Rist, he never showed his face in the movie. Michelan Sisti wore the costume and was the pizza guy.
