Why should English Students pay for their University Education, when Scottish & Welsh Students don't, also English Parliament

@eBritishIdentity We are the only country in Europe that has no political voice. Why is it as 'British' we always look to the past, past triumphs, past glories, past conquests over others? The past is behind us, the future is in front of us and from where England is heading it doesn't look too bright. I for one do not want to spit in any countries ancestral face, but we need to put England first. We need to think of our people, our economy and finances and our future.

@Abreodan Thanks for correcting my typo, top marks for pedantry. 'Nation', from the old latin 'gnasci' literally translates to 'be born'. The etymological origin of words is interesting but meanings evolve temporally, as do nations. Now I'll leave you with a pertinent quote: "Collective fear stimulates herd instinct, and tends to produce ferocity toward those who are not regarded as members of the herd" (Bertrand Russell).

1) The term YOU used was 'Anglo-Saxons', also cultural homogeneity.

2) Germanic is equally a geographical term. That's why Angles & Saxons are described as Germanic tribes and why Germany is so called today (crazily enough).

3) Nation: an aggregation of people of one or more cultures, races, etc, organized into a single state. (Collins English Dictionary).

1)Germanic=cultural homogeneity

2)Angles and Saxons were not Germans; Germans are Germans (craaazily enough).

3)Nation="that which has been born".

And as if you really want to have more shame poured on your lack of English nationality and history, I should add that half of my uncles wife's family were killed in the concentration camps of Auschwitz, but you keep pulling out that 'Nazi card' ;)
