My Spridget was suffering from a Perfect Storm of massive manifold vacuum leak (not easy to fix on this particular car), ignition misfire and a sticky carb float. Sometimes the car would flood at speed (requiring me to shut off the fuel pump at certain points) while other times I worried that the lean misfire would burn a valve. Overall, the car made raspy, farty sounds the entire weekend. It soldiered on until the latter part of the Sunday enduro when a throttle cable partly severed, leaving me with about 20% throttle opening. I could have fixed it, but it was late in the day and I had an 8:00 class the next day anyway.....
Still, the car (and me) survived unscathed and the "fixes" are all pretty simple.
It was a great weekend with gorgeous weather and a great group of folks. Looking forward to 2009!
It could have been worse and not been able to run like some others. You did well with what was going on. Was a lot warmer last year. I see you had some different camera positions this season.
