by the way, BAMashleyx3: the nissan parts catalog DOES list parts for LHD figaros. i believe there several markets in europe that have them- check YOUR 'reg off'.

the US does not decide if you register your car or not- the local state's department of motor vehicles determines this. there are several figaros running around LA, and at least a pair that I've spotted in orange county. having been brought here by private owners, they only have to have basic safety features like safety glass, reinforced doors, and full passive restraint sytem in place. the figaros have much more than just that...

The Figaro was never manufacured by Niossan in LHD, same as it was always auto. Thats not to say they do not exists...there are individuals that have converted to both options, we have seen them. They are also incredibly expensive if done.

swimmerBOB. I appreciate the individual state dept authorises the registration, I was simply generalising by Saying 'The US' The fact remains that it does not appear easy to register in the US. We have had hundreds of enquiries from the US over the years and advised each customer to enquire at their state reg office, none have ever purchsed.
Yes therte are Figaro in the US and like I say they have probably been imported as a private import on emigrating there.

How much would it cost to get one of these lovely cars switched to left side steering? Haha! I live in the United States and have fallen in love with this car ...

@BAMashleyx3 Hi Never available in LHD. Many LHD countries have them on their roads and keep them as RHD. Trouble in the US is regualtion laws. Quite simply put the US will not allow you to register it. I do know there are one or 2 in the US but I strongly suspect they were imported as 'privae imports' amongst a new residents personal possessions. Most countries allow this as part of your terms of permanant residency into a new country of resedence with your personal effects. Check your reg off.
