  • It is true when you said between 65-70% of black children are born to a female single parent. I'm only half black but it happened to my older sister, who has a different father from me and to me after my mom left my dad. She said it was because my dad's family didn't accept her because of her race. (sigh) I wish I was adopted.

  • I care about other African american students

  • From ebook, 'God Stopping A Nuclear War', 99 cents

Black students often fail because their left brains are not activated enough to work successfully as a gorup. With over active right brains which find it hard to sit and read in school.

Can this problem be overcome? Yes. Is it be addressed? No.

The lack of left brain activity affects black crime rates.

More money, more feel good crap, more blaming, hasn't done shit for us.

They ran this man out of education. Why?

    We're cheap labor!.

  • education is good but u got semi illerate immigrant passing more educated in the economic games. alotta dumb people r rich. black should be worrying about an economic base & work ethic. kids should be getting educated on books & also hard work. the country used to depend on our labor but now we cant even maintain our own communities. as a black man im pissed at our lack of progress.

  • @icanflyman

Actually in most cultures, the community has great respect for those who have accomplished records in academia.

It's really isolated to the AA community in which those with a education is felt isolated.

  • Hell no !

It's more important for them to blast their TV/Rap/Hip Hop during homework time then it is for them to help their kids study.

  • i believe the small groups of african progressives are a shine of light for the community. yeah they do tend to raise their nose upon others, but you have to understand the majority of the AA community's despise and frown upon AA intellectuals or those that strive to be.

the animosity derived between the edus and the unedus is a natural human occurrence not confined to AA's.

  • i think the biggest problem with african american education is the powerful counter culture within the community. students are more committed to rap careers and basketball contracts followed by the mentality of rebelling against the "bias" system and the resistance to conform to the white/american system.

Thus the african american devotion to education is severely tainted.

  • i disagree, here in stockton i have noticed a tremendous change or shift from gangster cambodians to college cambodians. i mean there are less young ones on the street as there use to be. remember certain asians have been here longer and given time to strive viets 60-70's, cambos 80-90's. it just takes time.

  • Hello Mr. Sims,

I enjoy your show and keep it going, my man. I got one question, How do you feel about these fraternities and sororities keeping "civil rights privileges and affirmative action" amongst themselves? I get really angry when those "want to be organizations, with their boule ass, which mean advisor to the king, thumb their noses at their own people. I am willing to challenge the integrity and moral obligation of any of theses organizations and I will SHUT them all down!! thanks bro!
