Now that you mention it, I watched Tink's video when it first came out. It's been a while though, so I didn't recognize the choreography.
It's unlikely I'll be able to join y'all, since I'm on a different coast (MS Gulf Coast), but I'll be with you in spirit, spinning on my beach after work that day. :)

I did not get athletic until after my kids were born, and now, not extreme, just moving with joy, in the water and on the earth. Progress comes with failure, but both hooping and SUP are perfect for women (and maybe at the same time as Earldagirl just proved so beautifully!). Many good vids on YOUtube for women who want to hoop or surf or stand up paddle. You can do it! xoxo~m

Fantastic! I liked your choreography and controlled movement, and I was really glad to see you rocking the core hooping - I wondered if it would be possible on a board in water, but you proved it can be done. Great video! :)

@CircularPraise Mahalo, but the choreography was created by Tink for World Hoop Day. You can go to the World Hoop Day site and see a compilation video of the dance from hoopers around the world doing it on the day. It was surely fun and will repeat it on a SUP again this year (11/11/11) with hopefully a large group, come join us in Santa Cruz! Aloha...

WOW! I hoop and paddlesurf too... hoped to be the first to do this. So inspiring! Jealous, but happy it can be done! ,-D Maybe I will be the first senior chica! 55 next week, and still having fun (I'm a grandma, yeah, hot stuff and hot flashes all in one!)
