"2012: Time for Change" presents an optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom. Directed by Emmy Award nominee João Amorim, the film follows journalist Daniel Pinchbeck, author of the bestselling 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl, on a quest for a new paradigm that integrates the archaic wisdom of tribal cultures with the scientific method. As conscious agents of evolution, we can redesign post-industrial society on ecological principles to make a world that works for all. Rather than breakdown and barbarism, 2012 heralds the birth of a regenerative planetary culture where collaboration replaces competition, where exploration of psyche and spirit becomes the new cutting edge, replacing the sterile materialism that has pushed our world to the brink.

  • the guy at the end.. has nooo idea.

  • How could you possibly make a movie like this and then SELL IT in exchange for this currency that you've been bitching about the existence of for an hour and a half straight? This is hypocrisy. Daniel, I thought I knew you better. I'm sure you have enough money by now to give this movie away for free.

  • To everyone who would like to wake up and change! I highly recommend Spirit Science here on youtube! You'll never regret it! Peace N Love!

  • @7raver7 doesnt that make us, i dont know, somewhat advanced animals.

  • @bmxrider69x that guy is stephen colbert, and hes all about freedom, and one to express his/her own beliefs about society, and the world. So, really sir you have nooo idea about the power that guy holds in the palm of his hand.

  • @Shindig109 Ah, well, true. But then again, why couldn't I do landscaping my whole life for free? I love landscaping, as I am sure Daniel loves to make these films. Sadly, reality is reality. And in reality, money is "needed" but still looked at as bullshit. Trust me, if there was a system, I am sure Daniel would accept food and building materials as well as the help to make himself a home rather than to take cash.

  • Jeez. I'm 18, 2 years ago I loved this stuff but i dropped it after studying Kabbalah and various other religions. I had not idea...i was always looking for the "answer" when the question is the answer...nowatimsayn?....and i just fixed my mouse by slamming it...noice.

  • Very well done, simple ! We all know that we can change, we have the tools, the ideas, the knowledge. So let's go for change !

  • @parrisblue THey're metaphorical parables. humans have always been humans. But, we've also always been vulnerable to nature. Our progression has seen us try and extirpate our race from the natural world. Yet, through that, we've managed to extirpate the planet, in the process. Now, we're like a car that has been barrelling through a winding cliff side road too fast. We've hit a turn we just can't make in time and we're dangling over the edge. The parables relate how nature bites back.

  • Pinchbeck! You have been one of my favorite authors for 6 years and I am so glad you are making this film!!!

  • I had to sign in to complain. Colbert: What a tiny repertoire of jokes at his disposal. There's a Ken Kesey interview somewhere on here from about 30 years ago and his vagina-faced interviewer used the "Are you high right now?" bit with him, too. Damn if that's not symbolic of the whole Despair: Part of humanity is moving on with the timestream, the other part are locked into this blinkered moronism in which they recycle their jokes along with their idiocy. End of rave.
