  • Miami beach blew yall out this year =) putting that out their

  • @Exotickid1 shut ur dirty as pussy up cause central is still the best in dade.

  • And this is why your ass is blocked from commenting ever on my page. Dingy idiot.

  • I didn't even see this. You are an extremely deluded person who is biased. Northwestern was NO ONE's favorite band but the people who attend the school and alumni. And with that, you lose

  • yall HAD a band but we had a legacy since you want to talk about the past. but as you can c we are in the present and da west is a bunch of garbage so dont come on here on central shit talkin shit. please hold dat bull mentality... cuz its not wanted here. this is centrals territory!! Rocket for life!!!

  • woe woe woe somebody talking bout central band. one thing i can say is centrals band has great sound quality!! da west they need to step it up. im sorry yo!!! dey completely fell off map.. no matta how small or big central band is.. they will always sound good!!! and hey even if it is a bunch of hatians at central (which i seriously doubt because we are very diverse) we definitely is doin da west in.

  • So what if Plantation is a white band lol... they still BLEW yall away with Africa. That's the whole point. Carol City, Central AND Plantation blew yall away with Africa.

  • The West band was very touchable. Those years you named they were good, not great. Hell, I remember back in '04 or '05, the year Plantation played you all in the playoffs and their band blew you all away playing the Africa fanfare. And The West played SWAC songs because that was where your BD was from. Doesn't mean no one else had the range and chops lol

  • Please, you couldn't compare FAMU to a high school band. NMB BLASTED the West then ran up the stands and started blasting over you, embarassing the west. Be glad NW finally came up. There was a time only a few years ago where you all were size and no sound

  • ExoticKid1, no other band feared you all. Now, I'm starting to wonder about you. I remember just a few years ago, North Miami Beach CLOWNED you all

  • Mr Umana is the associate band director. He only handles the marching band and teaches the incoming freshmen and sophmores exclusively on basic fundamentals. Mr Mcminn is the Director of bands. Mr. Mcminn was Mr U's associate director when Mr U was at the west. Anyway ppl lk at it we have a great band staff bc they were the ones who made sure the west was what it was under Mr U and under Mr Dorsey. Our jazz and symphonic bands are off the chain with them two teaching.

  • wow there band sounds good...i love how the woodwinds sound very crips and in tune in the upper register.

  • is the dir a jackson state grad? is that why the west plays war and thunder cadences?

  • the band sounds really good..but wtf the flags was doing..they did the same shit ova and ova ..and poor starlights ...lol
