Israel under attack from gaza on 24th December 2008

Israel under attack over 70 rockets fired from Gaza today. This morning Hamas terrorists decided to step up their war against Israel and fired over 70 Irainian made Katyusha rockets smmugeled into the Gaza strip by tunnels that are dug across into Egypt. Over 50 Israeli`s where lightly injured mostly suffering from shock and trauma and many homes where destroyed in Israels southern towns Ashkelon,Sderot,Netivot and smaller Kibbutzim. The Israeli Cabinet has met for an emergency meeting in the Prime Ministers office in Jerusalem and a major millitary operation will start as soon as weather conditions and finall measures of diplomacy are concluded and cleared. Hamas ceasefire with Israel has ended on thursday and they are not willing to resume it unless their demands are met, demands that they know Israel at this crucial time of elections can`t agree to, so it looks like many people on both sides are going to be hurt in the next few days in the biggest millitary operation since the seconed Lebanon war in the summer of 2006.

In a last minute attempt to hault the Idf`s operation in the Gaza strip Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni has gone to Cairo to meet with President Mubarak who has so far failed to negotiate a new ceasefire with Hamas terror regime in the Gaza strip.

The Israeli army is preparing for a big operation and is massing up troops and tanks along the Gaza strip border this morning perhaps these diplomatic last minute efforts and Israeli millitary show of force will change Hamas views for the need of a new ceasefire and prevent many this operation.

I must say that you have a very strange definition of coexistence, but sure lets say that opression of jews is "coexistence". The jews were under centuries opressed not only religiously like during the periods when they were denied access to their holy sites but also persecuted and executed as is shown in history. Not until the area got under British authority would there be hope for equality, but well, we all see what the "Palestinians" did then...

Why don't you begin checking the history books, Hebron massacre 1929, and in the 1948 independance war both the Bedouins and Druze joined the Jewish troops to fight against the palestinians to get equality.
