2W 445nm Blue Laser versus 11 CD cases

This is a video of a 2W Blue Laser burning trought 10 CD cases and the plastic botton of a DVD-R tube.
This laser is a DIY and uses a Ultrafire RL-2088 Flashligh host and x3 18650 batteries. As you can see on the video it has no difficulty whatsoever to burn trought everything.

Este é um laser de 2W azul 445nm queimando através de 10 caixas de CD mais o fundo de tubo de DVD.
Este laser foi feito a partir da lanterna Ulrafire RL-2088 e usa 3 baterias 18650. Como vocês podem ver no video ele não tem dificuldade alguma de atravessar tudo.

@jacob525312 That was my mistake misreading that, but what you said is still not true. You DO NOT need 'special authorisation' or 'licences' at all. At least do some research first. You can BUY and OWN any laser you like. You need a health and safety certificate to use them in public areas. It goes under the same rules as smoke machines.

2W is a lot of power. You can burn yourself by just channeling .5W of heat through a small heatsink about the size of your thumb.
