How did you get heavy to do animations while the pet moved freely in a smooth animation? did you use hat animation or did you use a green screen and add heavy later?

The hamster prop actually loops the animation from ME2 so I only had to animate the heavy. I did however use a green screen so that I could match the timing of both animations to my liking.
