Dušan Končar is the only remaining miller in the area of Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia.
Like a sturdy old oak, Dušan is deeply rooted in the land that has long been home to his ancestors.
The grains in his mill are being ground and brought in from all over Croatia and beyond.
The flour milled here absorbs the essence of the enduring spirit of this lively and tenacious 83-year-old, and the bread made from it emanates the willpower and kindheartedness of this exceptional man.
