Carrying on with James' view toward diesels, Rusty was the diesel Duncan told James about a while back, "teaching him how to stay on the rails and leaving him to find his own coaches." Wait until James finds out more about Rusty. He'll realize he's not so bad, and they have something in common, though insignificant, they each have the number 5. As for Peter Sam, I take my hat off to him for trying to get past. Hopefully he'll get some rest and wear the pain off for a while.

@gallafey The books came before the TV series. He was black in the Rev. W Awdry's books, and Christopher wrote much of his books before Rusty was even introduced in the TV series. Therefore he couldn't have known the TV version would have different livery. Besides, I think Rusty looks good in black.
