Dr. Emily Splichal, Founder of the Evidence Based Fitness Academy (www.ebfafitness.com as well as a Senior KBC Level 1 Instructor) and KettleBell Concepts CEO David Ganulin (kettlebellconcepts.com) are proud to announce the launch of a new, 2.5 hour seminar which will debut in NYC on June 2, 2012 from 10-12:30pm.

If you've wanted to learn more about becoming a Barefoot Training Specialist(tm) or a KettleBell Concepts Level 1 Instructor but aren't ready to make the leap just yet, this is a great introductory seminar for you to take part in.

Two of the hottest "trends" in the fitness industry are kettlebells and barefoot training. Often, some kettlebell lifters (blindly citing "tradition") do KB's barefoot. Some runners do similarly. This begs some of the following questions:

WHEN? Saturday, June 2. 10-12:30pm
WHERE? Lucille Roberts 50 East 42nd Street, NYC, NY
HOW MUCH? Registration Fee: $99 (Early Bird Rate $75)
WHY? Why train barefoot when shoes seem to provide the support and shock absorption needed for optimal performance?
WHAT? What did the "traditionalists" in the former USSR or the runners in Kenya or the Tarahumara in Mexico know that we're only now starting to figure out?
WHO? Who is barefoot training for? Is it for you? Is it "better?" Should everyone do it? If so, how to get started? "All I need is a pair of Vibrams and I'm good, right?"

WRONG!

For more information on hosting this seminar or to register, contact info@kettlebellconcepts.com or go to www.kettlebellconcepts.com. You can also register on the EBFA website at www.ebfafitness.com. Hope to see you there!
