  • the only thing lower than a politician is a Conservative politician

  • @00Billy

" Naive to think it would" That's exactly what I was saying at the time.

To blame both Trudeau and Mulroney for such fiscal terrorism acts is nonsense, just like blaming Harper. Neither our elected Officials or Bank of Canada have control over Canada's fiscal responsibilities and or Budgets, These are handed down to them by the IMF and BIS, who control Canada's sovereignty and laws, hence we have no sovereignty and are slaves to non-elected Global Plutocratic banksters

  • Wake up people they are all just Bilderberg scum, their one job upon getting elected is to drive the nation into debt to the international bankers, they don't give a rats ass about the people or the country. Treasonous bastards all of them.

  • @Canuckism101

"only one problem the retail industry did not lower sticker prices. "

Naive to think it would....given the increases of the national debt at the time . That was the reason. Trudeau rang up massive bills and voila Mulroney had to....

  • @00Billy I'm sorry but you are misleading people here, The GST was to replaced the 13.5% supply chain tax paid by industry that was adjusted in the price per item before before federal and provincial sales taxes at the cash register. The CND retail industry was to tally up inventory to receive a big fat Gov check compensation for the already paid 13.5% tax and lower the sticker price by 13.5%. only one problem the retail industry did not lower sticker prices.

  • @blackdragon1911

When the GST was enacted.....its was a tax on a tax... 7% on 12% tax. in NL/LA i was 19.84% total. In Ont it was 7% on 9% i believe.

Canada needed the GST still does. Harper was a fool to axe it by 1%, and some how the Liberals have imploded...for 5 yrs.

  • @00Billy Muloroney was the worst. A 13% VAT tax on practically all consumption. Chreitien was just a boldfaced liar he said he would abolish the GST repeatedly. Wonder what happened? All politicians are liars and crooks.

  • Mulroney was bad, trudeau was bad, Chretien was the worst.....Harper and Martin just continue ....

Until we put partisan bullsh_t aside and hold them accountable...not us.....

    Trolls please thinks about it....

Peter is part of the problem...

  • ain't nobody messes with jim, u kno wat em sayin. he's the real nigga G
