Pakistan Situation: Benazir Returns

A look at the situation in Pakistan, where Benazir Bhutto is gathering support for her Pakistan People's Party since her return (on 10.4.86) after eight years of exile. President Gen Zia ul-Haq (who overthrew & executed Benazir's father, Pres Zulfiqar Ail Bhutto) lifted marshall law in 1985 and appointed a civilian Prime Minister, Muhammad Khan Junejo, who is an apparently obscure if powerful leader. this was a jalsa made 2 days before benazeer bhutto comming to pakistan in april 1986 and janab yousef raza gilani sb can be seen at 5:04 min, jalsa was orginized to conv people not to welcom benazir bhutto but she was wellcommed by people all lahore was full never happen again

well...yusuf raza gillani started his political career by contesting the 1985 elections he used to b in the Muslim League then...when president zia died in the plane crash he joined the PPP just before the elections and has remained its member ever since..some say that his long loyalty ws the reason he ws made PM in 2008...
