  • thank you,

  • @thill9k

    You're welcome.

  • u have any ideas about opening the e46 fan clutch when the water pump pulley broken off and nuts bend.

  • @mikechichan

If your fan clutch died, there's not much you can do. Replace it with a new one. Also, I'd recommend you get an aluminum water pump pulley instead of the composite one to prevent any future problems. Get new bolts at the dealership, they have them in stock and are fairly inexpensive.

  • thanks david, i finally got it off,

  • I wouldld have taken the fanblades of then take a wire brush and attack it. Actually that is what I did when I overhauled my cooling system after my failed waterpump. The clutchfan (radiator fan) came out like new.

  • HI THERE HOW IS EVERYTHING GOING? I HAD MY SERPENTINE BELT REPLACE, I WAS RACING AND SUDDENLY A PULLEY BROKE, THE THING IS THAT AFTER THIS HAPPENED, WHEN I TURN ON THE AC A STRANGE NOISE LIKE A WHISTLE TYPE OR SOMETHING POPS UP, ANY IDEA OF WHAT COULD IT BE? THANKS

  • lol you have an awesome pet David! funny interoperation too :)
