I thought you guys would really like a look at this super clean 1970 Plymouth Duster. It's looking sharp in that lime green and it's packing a powerful 340V8 under the hood. This is an awesome example of Mopar Muscle. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

MacLeod's description:

Genre: Blues
Length: 3:15
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
Tempo: 90

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

  • Have owned 5 different Duster's, years ago. 3, '71 340 cars, 2 of those being D21 cars. 1, FC7 Inviolet, and 1 GB5 blue. No mopar musclecars in my driveway currently, but thinking about bringing another home again eventually. Love the Sassy Grass Green. Just about my favorite of the great mopar colors. Thinking about useing that on a 440 Power Wagon project I have, and Lemon Twist possibly on a 440 Sportsman van I also have.

Great footage of a gorgeous rare little A-body.....

  • @SixSpeedSS Sounds like you really know your Mopars. Thanks for taking a look a this one!

  • man, i saw a lot of your movies of restored cars. in my opinion you are auto god!!!

  • @DaWestsideUnlimited Thanks for watching....I appreciate the support!

  • 1970 Duster 340-Forest Green.....My first car Regret it had a only a 3-speed manual floor trans.

Drove it off the showroom floor for less than 3 Grand!

  • @hankus48 That's a pretty awesome first car. I didn't have anything nearly that cool. Thanks for taking a look at this one!

  • @hankus48 wish it was still that price

  • @ramblinaround-

You said it. I drove it off the showroom floor for $2,800! Got to stretch legs on the 224 mile round-trip driving my sister back to college on the New York State Thruway.

It had a 4 bbl Holley carb...punch that pedal and really felt the other 2 bbls kick in. I had a '87 Trans Am for 12 years...never felt it lived up to the Duster....

Can't believe the 30K tag on this one....

  • @ddibsn Thanks for the added info, it's always appreciated. Thanks for watching!

  • I own a 70' 340 Lime light J5 Duster. So to correct both of the the poster below... Sublime was the name for J5 on Dodge not Plymouths, although either way it's the same color. Also J6 Sassy grass was available in 70' on 340 cars. Lastly, the grille is incorrect for a 340 car as well as the center caps on the wheels. They should be the light argent not the dark.
