yo man get one that dose the crash sound makke sure they are 100% the same and the crt works and transfer the crts to eath other and add a 2 hdd if you can

Well, at first I was thinking it was a power problem then you mentioned the purple sparks on the screen, which means it is getting power. The purple and the sparking would probably be due to a bad or possible bent prong on the computer connection. But, considering the age, "Get another CRT monitor". It could cause a fire if left on for any length of time.

Wow that was quick! But not on the actual monitor, on the electron gun, in the middle, just these flashes of purple. But yeah, that's what I was thinking. Thanks!
