love this song and i get many ppl yes i do think he is off key on some level however, this songs is pretty old and his voice maybe wasn't as bad ass as now, also i think this song was more personal then for any cd so its all cool with me either way DC is awesome :)

Well the first one was "A Swiss Army Romance" in 2000 but this was the next one they released.

<3 so epic. seriously. nothign beats being this.
this was on the first ep he ever released, like on the side, while still doing further seems forever. earliest recorded dashboard confessional. this was like 2000-2001 era. nothing beats going to those florida shows.

if my memory serves me correctly this song never officially made it on a CD.

Well, for the most part that's a matter of opinion. And honestly, I'm not in the mood for a long drawn out genre battle that won't prove a thing.
But i still do have to say, this is preformed pretty atrociously. =\ from a strictly musical point of view, he's singing off key. I'm just surprised any producer would allow that vocal line. I really wish dashboard would have just recorded a few more takes on the vocals. This is studio, right? Not live?

compared to a lot of the crap that plays on the radio now days, this is pretty damn good. even tho i have to agree with what was said, but then again, this is an acoustic.
my view is he's just kinda singin from the heart....I know it's off key in places, but I love listening to it...
