I've been having some debate over the how crucial lacing is on a good beer. Moreover, how it is indicative of good beer. I've seen this phenomena at bars. Couldn't quite get it the same but it was still there. Lacing folks, how important is it. I've always touted it but I see it in crappy beers. Let me know what you think!!
I love seeing the lacing around the glass. The first beer that this came to my attention was Guinness. I've heard it has to do with freshness, but I don't know. I just like it.

Not as impressive as the lacing on a good craft beer. However, while lacing adds to the experience it isn't always required. If the beer is complex and tasty then it doesn't need to have much lacing.
I agree with DenisLD that lacing can be an indicator of feshness. Although it's harder to tell with higher ABV beers.

Good video. It looked like you really enjoyed the ML!
I think that lacing is something that nearly every beer has, but to different extents. The Miller Lite had a bit of lacing but not that much. Also, a clean glass can make a big difference in the amount of lacing a beer has.

To me, good lacing is generally an indicator that the beer is fresh. That's why beers on tap and on cask usually have plenty of lacing.

FANTASTIC! Now my new fav.
I am so glad you did this. As you know Ive always said that ML had good lacing, its even better on draft. Well not the beer but the lacing.
Now I have to so some real home work in the science of lacing and see why ML has decent lacing. But it does make you question;
What is lacing?
Thanks, Great review I havent laughed so hard in a long time.
