Fountain powerboats vs Pantera 28 offshore powerboat racing

Pantera Boats builds high performance Offshore boats for pleasure or racing. The Tunnelvision 28' was the Southeast B-class champion in 1992 and finished # 2 nationally that year. It was powered by a single Hawk Marine Power 800 HP with a # 4 Speedmaster drive. Tunnelvision was the only single engine B-Class race boat at the time and won a bunch of races that year; over all other twin engine boats in the class. We built it while located on Thunder Boat Row. Tunnelvision would run in the mid to upper 80s for speed. The boat was perfectly balanced. The motor was mounted on rails so it could be moved forward in rough water races.
