Fire and Steel

Mike Gallagher, Pittsburgh Irish and folk music icon was so kind to set my words about my home town to music. Paddy Folan, accordianist in Guaranteed Irish lent his expertiese and Jamie Peck, master engineer and part-time bassist and percussionist made our song come alive. This song is all about Pittsburgh, a city born out of Fire & Steel.

What a GREAT way to commemorate our Pittsburgh steel mill workers and coal barge captains/pilots! I'm personally touched by this because my Grandfather, Father and Uncle used to work in the Pittsburgh steel mills. Very moving song and video. Great pics too. Congrats to everybody involved!
