There is an industry of climate change denial aimed at exploiting the issue for advertising money. Media watch joins the dots ahead of a disgraceful rally in Canberra sanctioned by Climate change skeptic Tony Abbot where he addressed the crowd. This rally was exploited by SHock jock networks heralded the event as a voice of middle Australia. The event was attended by the Australian League of Rights, far-right group the National Civic Council and members of One Nation and Climate Sceptics. Despite economic evidence that Middle and Lower income Australians will be better off under a low carbon economy, the line seems to be that "you will lose your job and why should we do anything as China is the problem".
