Presenting parts to a robot can be challenging. Using proven MotoSight 2D vision and a flexible parts feeder along with the high-performance MH5L robot, we show how manufacturers can have their parts presented in the desired orientation and focus on their core process. This configuration is ideal for small parts assembly, kitting and machine loading applications. It can be used for a wide range of part types and sizes. Typical rates are 30 - 40 parts per minute and possibly higher rates if up/down orientation is not required.
Motoman Robotics delivers innovative robotic automation solutions for virtually every industry and robotic application, including arc welding, assembly, coating, dispensing, material cutting (laser, plasma, waterjet), material handling (diecast, machine loading, packaging, palletizing, part transfer, press tending), material removal (deburring, polishing, sanding) and spot welding.
Our product line includes more than 175 distinct robot models and 40 pre-engineered "World" solutions, which are complete application-specific platforms, including robot, process equipment and safety equipment.
