  • Good job, that was great!

  • I looked this up for minecraft

  • ahahahaha VAN DER ROJAAA haahah lol

  • Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm more partial to the early modernist buildings of the 30's with their White stucco Walls, portholes and round corners.

There are a few post-war buildings (in particular, private residences) that are truly deserving of landmark status.

I consider most other modernist buildings to be, for the most part, rather uninspiring.

  • The importance of modern architecture is as an example of how to create a world not worth caring about and the consequences that result from it.

  • Well done for creating a clear and interesting video about modernist architecture. Particularly note-worthy and interesting to me is your work identifying local buildings in and around Charlotte. A great resource. I might try and do the same for Dunedin, New Zealand where I live. Cheers!

  • This is a really bad movie : ]

I'm a fan of contemporary architecture, not modern. But this video really puts you off moder architecture.

Why don't you mention how modern architecture failed? And is one of the causes for the global warming?

All the cold bridges, all the singe glazed glass boxes, all the imperfect at the time flat roofs.. : ]

  • Personally I'd say that the Charlotte Colosseum is more of the Googie style than stict modernism.

While I agree that some of the most succesfully executed modernist buildings could be preserved. Having lived quite a bit of my life in modernist "archievements," I have very little pity to give to the style.

  • Good and useful.

    Thank you. :)
