Saint Thomas Aquinas Schola Cantorum sings Esto les Digo, composed by Kinley Lange, at the Cathedral in Salamanca, Spain. The concert was the inaugural concert, in a series of concerts, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the New Cathedral. The concert was performed in the Old Cathedral for a capacity audience.
Esto les Digo was used as a prelude to the concert and was sung from the South Transept at the Cloister entrance.
Soloist:Julie Richard
Director: Matthew S Sprinkle
Disclaimer: I had 4 of 5 of my sopranos sick (upper respiratory) by this point of the tour - including the soloist. Excellent job despite the illness.
Beautiful work, but how about some rolled 'r"s? Also got a bit worried with the soloist's vibrato turning into more of a wobble. Really enjoyed listening!

Gorgeous piece - one of my favoirites. Nice to hear it so well done. I would love to hear a more subtle entrance at "Se lo" after the grand pause. Fine work. I look forward to new posts from you and your group.

Great to hear something new. This is your first "Schola Cantorum" posting. It is my postulation that this is a professional choir. The group sounds divine! The diction is unsullied; the voices amalgamated; the consonants collectively apparent; and in tune throughout.
The Sopranos do sound somewhat vociferous - but overall the ensemble has a great blend. It is obvious they enjoy singing together and they respond well to your conducting. I look forward to more samples keep up the good work.
